Pics From Armdrop Live this weekend (56k Beware)

The idea behind "Armdrop" is as soon as both racers are staged, a time that both cars can beat is displayed in front of them, at the same time Rich, the host of Pink, starts to do his armdrop thing, and the racers can not go faster than the time displayed or there out, and they have to still beat the other racer, they picked 256 racers and did it tournament style until the last 2, then it was a 2 out of 3 hot-lap competition and the winner took home 10,000 dollars, it was very interesting to watch







This Mustang ran 7.01 seconds













This thing ran 5.38 sec @ 296 MPH :shock:

We went on saturday and it actually got rained out so they had to finish it on sunday, so i didn't get to see who won it

yes thats the same car, a chop top mustang, as it pulled up to the line it was dripping oil, so they had to push it back off the line, i really wanted to see it run

This was the very first "Armdrop" race of the day, CAR vs. SNOWMOBILE, when they started the actual competition, they stopped displaying the times the cars ran, just a light to show which lane won

Yes those were snowmobiles!! some of those things were running high 9's low 10's, i think there was one that actually ran a high 8 second pass

me and my friend were saying they would be a blast to ride in the snow with a snow track on it

there was a Honda civic hatchback that caught fire and a muscle car lost control and almost hit the wall, he managed to save it, lucky no one was hurt

the race them alot year round at union grove in wisconsin. what did that dodge shadow have under the hood? was this in canada? i know pinks was just filming in st louis not to long ago maybe last week?
