I had problems with the front end. I wanted to use the Festiva / Aspire rack with Aspire tie rods but had to mate them to the SHO Taurus spindles. After some measuring it turned out the Aspire ball joints are 7 degrees and the SHO is drilled for 10 degrees. I turned a set of tapered bushing on the lathe , they took about 20 minute each to do.
Now I have everything mocked up, AGAIN![Frown](https://fordfestiva.com/forums/core/images/smilies//frown.gif)
I think I need to space the front wheels out about 1 inch per side and still need to drop the front about 1 inch.
Now that I have cleared most of the mechanical hurdles I can take it all apart and blast all the parts and start painting. I have some stuff to do to the motor and tranny while its out . Once all that's done it wiring, fuel lines, brake lines hook up the shifter. Next comes the fender flares and custom front bumper.
