And some shots of Centralia... I know I've posted some info on this before... But this is the town in PA that's got an underground mine fire burning since the 60's. The town has been evacuated, with the exception of 6 or 7 families, and you can see smoke and stuff coming out generally year round. Because it was so cold today, it was really smokey. I love this place, can't get enough of it... So, that's why there's more shots.

Nice photography ! Looks cold though, snow and all. No snow yet here this year. Hasnt even been cold yet. Cool to see the windmills !! Hopefully renewable resources are coming around.

Thanks. The 2 shots from the split in the road might be some of my favorite shots ever. I'm really pleased with how they turned out, unmodified.

And the windmills are neat... But it really takes away from the landscape of the ghost town of Centralia.

And yeah... The snow started coming down on Thursday night... I'm not ready for it yet though.

was VERY cold Doug....worse then any Ohiostiva meet I was at...the wind coming off the mountain was bitter cold....still was a good time though.

what the..... why didnt you come and visit me when you were at the wind farm??? we're only 10 miles or so from the first windmill. Im sure my iron worker buddies would have taken you up to the top of the tower.

lol...saturday afternoon? I didn't end up there though...I had a long drive back home....would love to come back and check out the town some time though...and the windmills.
