  • My New Best Friend

This is the '88 LX I picked up for $900 a few weeks ago. 5 Speed with AC and only 75,000 miles. It's not near perfect but it has renewed my interest in Festivas again. (I've never added photos before so I apologize if this doesn't show up right).

Thanks, everyone. I'm just happy I scored this car. I've been looking for an 88 LX for a couple of years. If it lasts me as long as my other 88 (293,000 miles), I'll be happy. Sparky...these pics were taken in the town of Millersburg PA where my son, Simon, and I live. The foot bridge behind the car is called the Swinging Bridge which connects the town and a small park on the other side. The river in the backdrop is the Susquehanna and our town also has the last double paddle wooden ferryboat in the US which connects our town with the town of Liverpool PA.
