    HELLO TO ALL.
i have built installed an using a hydrogen generator on my 91 festiva 5spd. i read alot of the post's on this site about it. everyone want's fact's not i heard it from a friend. and i could'nt find that lasvegascop finished his. so here's mine. i started with a 5 plate cell 2x6 18 guage 304 stainless steel spaced 1/4 inch apart. i used 1 gallon distilled water with a 1/8 of a teaspoon of baking soda mixed in an used this to fill my cell. this pulled 3.5 amps an produced hydrogen. i filled my tank to the absolute max an drove my 46.8 mile trip daily for a week. i returned to the same station the following monday same pump same time filled the same way. as i always do to the top of the neck. i had a solid 3 mpg increase. i drove another week an it repeated. i cut it off for a week an lost the 3 mpg i had gained. so i then decided i wanted more. i added 3 more plate's to the cell changed the spacing to 1/8 added another 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda to another gallon of water and refilled my cell. this gave me 17.7 amps and by submerging the output hose in water an counting the bubbles produced in one minute. i had increased by 4 times asmuch. so again filled up ran a week and gained nothing. i went back to the first plan an got the 3 mpg back. i am installing an efie board today. and changing the cell back for more hydrogen output. so that's it.

As you are just presenting your results, I don't see that anyone should have an issue with it.
You're not coming here with undocumented claims, claims made from "I've heard" or "a friend of a friend ...", or claims made with "vapor" hardware as has been done here in the past.
I know I've been looking for an unbiased set of experiments.
But be prepared to answer many questions.
      For example:
Are you using a biased O2 senor (one with 5 volts applied to it)?
Are you feeding both the hydrogen and the oxygen from the electrolysis into the engine?
      You have any pics?

      Notes for clarity:
Define your nomenclature like Hho(HHO), hfi(HFI), and efie(EFIE) at least once for those not familiar with them.
And lastly, for I'm not the most grammatically correct typist, use "I" instead of "i" it makes for easier reading.

But, based on what you have above it looks like we might have something worth while to discuss!

Thank you for posting about brown's gas. I saw a video on one of the networks that a Police Department in S.C. has this on some of their cars. I will search for the link.

Looks like they were getting around six more mpg.

        Keep up the great research

ok here's a picture of my hydrogen cell on my festiva.
my o2 sensor is stock an I'll be adding 300mv with the EFIE ( electronic fuel injection enhancer) for this week's test run.
I am feeding the hydrogen an oxygen in to the intake.

Whoa, that is one clean engine bay!
And I see you have some fab skills, those units are nicely built and cleanly installed!
            You have AC!!!!!!!!!
            Does it work?
So your going to be biasing the O2 senor by 300mV (0.3 Volts) with or without the HHO feed?
            Well keep us informed.
I just wish we could measure your exhaust temp!
With a properly operating coolant system I would imagine you could run and extra 100 to 150° on your exhaust without a problem.
Did you read FB71 post were he found an increase of 400° when running using a biased O2 sensor?

After you get the data you're looking for using sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) try it with sodium carbonate (washing soda). I've *heard* (I'm not a chemist) it produces more hydrogen gas, all else being equal. Anybody really know?

my ac works. I did replace the compressor 2 years ago. an the dryer an all the o-rings. gettin the r-12 was tuff but i found a carrier guy that had 11 pounds he had no need for. I will be using the hydogen with the efie this week. I did read FB71's post. an appreciate the effort he put into it. the cooling system is clean an a 50/50 mix of dionized water an antifreez. the reason I use baking soda is it's no problem to handle when I drain it. an I can swipe it form the wife. it's just more fun takin it from her.

Actually, I would think any ionic material dissolved in water would help with electron transfer, which is the key to electrolyzing water.
So yes, NaHCO3 and Na2CO3 should work, so should NaCl and HCl.
I suspect it only makes a difference in the amount used to promote electrolysis.
HCl and NaCl are easily ionized and dissolve easy in water, where as NaHCO3 and NaCO3 probably do not dissolve as readily, but you don't really need a lot of it so I don't really think it makes much difference.
I'm a chemist, but this is better answered by an electro-chemist!

switch those plates to 2X6" 316L stainless steel and soak them in sodium carbonate (ph balancer for pools) for 7 days lock them all together with nylon washers and some 10/24 bolts and lock nuts.
