Love to see that much care taken in manufacturing your own parts. There was no real reason to grind down the corner of the box you made, but you did anyways - I like that.

looks good.....but why did you go through all that instead of just getting a short throw and putting it in the stock set up?
Still looks like a decent result....a little fab skills there.

the only reason i went that way is there is no way to make the throw that short without making the bottom half of the shifter so long that it hits your exhaust lol... and welding it up, taking out the rubber mounts and making all it out of steal, not plastic... makes it alot better "feel" shift plus i like the look of that fat 5/8 inch rod over the tiny stock one lol...

I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it....................
I had to look at the pictures 3 times to figure out what you were doing with all the plates.
I love the idea of a short throw while retaining the handle height. Fabricated in true hotrodder fashion. Like the commercial says, "Now that's thinkin' with your dipstick, Jimmy!"

Fine job. Looks like an over-size Joy Stick! Great. Any dimensions available to make it easier for the "dupilcators" out here?
