  • Replace AC Belt

I need to replace my AC belt due to fraying which pulley do I loosen or is there a tension pulley. I do not have power steering.

The tensioner is the highest pulley on the car. Towards the front

      i second that.

loosen the 14mm (i think) bolt on the side of the tensioner, then unscrew the small nuts so it drops the tensioner and loosens the belt.

first question is which a/c system do you have

factory----3 relays under drivers side headlight and under battery

        or

dealer installed---- 2-3 relays on passenger side inner fender well near top of strut tower

this makes a difference on how to loosen the idler pulley

        I am the original
