Hello, hope you can help me.
My car is getting worse…
At first I just noticed that sometimes when I was about to accelerate between gears that it sometimes took a couple of seconds before it responded when the pedal was pressed.
BUT itīs getting worse. Now the car bearly is driveble. At idle it is not consistent, goes between 500-1000 rpm. Can also stall. But always start. Its sometimes hesitate when accelerating, more now then before. It feels like its getting to much fuel or too little.
Only att full trottle the car runs quite ok. But it is hard to drive with full trottle. =)
What can this be? I have change the sparks, they were quite ”black”. Runs fat I guess?
Have changed the fuelfilter, but is still the same. Has put injection cleaner in, but I think the car runs worse now.
I will try to read the error code, later this weak.
The car is a Kia Pride 2000 1.3 liter (B3) with fuelinjection, but I donīt think it's a EFI. The fuelinjection I think is a Mitsubishi system.
The distributor cap looks ok and has been cleaned. And If a pull sparkplugs cable it runs even worse.
Can this be the O2 sensor that is broke? It runs quite ok with full trottle, perhaps that is the signal the fuelinjection gets? A broke O2 sensor gives the message that very much air is passing??
I really appriciate help.
