Had a flat on the trailer. :angry1:
I should've been home hours ago. I just stopped for dinner. Here are a few pics.






It fired after about a minute of cranking. It idled like it should. And then after about two minutes of running the automatic choke cut off. The engine sounds perfect. It even smells like a Festiva. The story is it rolled into a fence post. The owner bought a good fender, headlight assembly, hood, and a swaybar. He painted the fender, but when he went to put the swaybar on it would not fit. It is buckled where the swaybar mounts.

And as usual for the area.... No rust. 8)

I always have my radar on. This one was a craigslist score. I daily scour craigslist. Because I check it so frequently I was first in line. There were two others. I have my eye on 2 others right now. I found them by posting a want ad on a facebook local yardsale page. A guy sent me a message. He has one and his dad has one. I also have a wtb festiva ad on craigslist posted at all times.

Plus so many people know I love them that when they see them they tell me. If you have any driver friends tell them to look for them. If a stranger comments on your festiva ask them if they know where any are. It also pays to leave cards. I've scored a few that way. One person called me years after I left the card.
