David MacDonald's older sister previously owned a '90 Festiva, which she wrote-off in Dec, 2000. David drove the car and loved the performance, even stock. Having seen the Daimler-Chrysler SMART, he was inspired to locate a Festiva of his own to customize. David liked the B6 engine swap idea, but do to do body mods to Festiva would be even more intriguing. So he took the liberty of editing one of the FF.Com gallery pictures for ideas.
