while it may not be a festy its got the same drivetrain and chassis just a dif body and interior so in my mind it counts to show at the meet. i just need to get the gas mileage up some before then

nah im good on another one for now the aspire runs good and thats all im worried about for now. maybe later on down the road ill get another one but for now what i have is fine.

waaaay too expensive...

Just saw one for $300 but it says "It runs but only for a minute" so that sounds like an easy fix. More than likely overheating......but really don't know.

i wasnt able to make the decatur meet this past weekend for financial reasons but if no problems arise between now and then i will be at the ozarks meet. i live 20min from hannibal missouri so its a bit closer. ive been wanting to go to lamberts but have never been. i dont have a festy anymore though, i sold the one with the 107db exhaust i had but i do have an aspire now

I have to work until 5 on Friday and I am not sure how late they stay open......wait it's dark after 5 . O and Wes was talking about having a mini meet here in KC on Saturday, I'm sure he wouldn't mind another Festy there if we can decide on something. I told him that I was leaving the early afternoon open for Pick and Pull. Thanks for the heads up on the cardboard trick. I thought about it put was curious how to fix it for good, and I have read some forums about the dual thermostat so I might have to check mine. What are the differences does anybody know (I never check them out to much, I just pick parts up and install)?
