But hey Midnight I was thinking about going to "Pick and Pull" this weekend to look for some parts I need, if you are down we could me up and I would help you pull a blower off 1 of the 2 festys out there (I haven't seen them but I check their inventory). I need a bezel that covers the radio and heater controls and maybe a few other random parts

My heater for some reason works like a charm when not in motion but as soon as you get on the highway.....it is COLD! It's not uncommon to have all the windows (rear defrost doesn't work YET) to be frozen except for the front of course. Any ideas about how to fix that would be great too . I was thinking about putting in another thermostat but I will have to dive into the forums again this weekend.
Try covering 1/2 or more of the rad w/ cardboard.

This topic hasn't been posted in, in a while. So I figured I would ask about the progress on the meet? Being newly introduced into fordfestiva.com I am waiting patiently like a little school girl for my first meet! lol I also have a body guy that plans on coming down with me to check out all the work and customs. I also checked out Festiva Madness 3 and I am super stoked for that also! Lambert's sounds great if that is the plan, it has been a few years since I have eaten there.

I think Barbara and I would like to make this meet.

2154 miles round trip is not do far.

    Maybe a convoy out?

It was so much fun meeting everyone at the St. Louis meet.

Here is the email i got. This listing has only been up a few days... i try to to find the link

I am selling the whole car not the parts. But since the alignment is out, I don't consider it safe to drive any long distances. I am told that the point where the A-arm connects is rusted and flexes enough that the alignment will not hold. If someone wants to weld a plate over it, then I think it would be safe to drive. But I already bought a new car and am done with this one. If you want the car I have a clean title and you can come check it out. All I have to do is charge the batter and it will start with no problems. In all the years I have owned this car I have never had to do any work on the engine except change the timing belt every so often. I put a new on on at 320k along with a new water pump. When I hit a deer it took out my radiator and I replaced it with a steel cored one. These are much better than the aluminum ones as they don't clog up. This might be why I have never had to replace the head on mine. As you can see from the photos it's not in pristine condition, but it only stranded me once in 20 years. That was when the alternator I had just put on it, went out and I ran out of battery. I replaced the alternator and was up and running again. That was last January so the alternator is a little over a year old. If not for the front end problems I would be still driving it. If you are serious I can take some video of the car and post it to youtube so you can see it before you drive up. The car can be driven as I drove it 75 miles with the alignment way out. However it pulled to the left and right depending on which tire was tracking at the time and it was not a fun experience.

This is off topic somewhat, but I found something interesting in your area

there is an '88 mercury tracer with b6, 5 speed.
Supposedly runs good but has steering problem. Guy said the "control arm support needs welded " You can drive it away though. It was a good looker.
$200-250, I forget. It was on craigslist somewhere farther north, I dont remember the town name.

Yeah, that's when it was this year, I see no reason it should deviate from the past.
Pre-meet at Area-241, again as usual.
This time more facilities will be on-line, as well a a little more computational power.
