Hey Blade,

My daughter-in-law, JLock, has a 4 speed in her car and so does Sam.1956 and they have both been from NC to Ohio and back with them. 800+ miles round trip.

If you decide to try it, we will be leaving Raleigh about 7 Saturday morning and could meet you on the way across I-40. Also, if you think you might want to try it, let one of us know and we can send you a list of contact numbers in case you do have a problem. Or, you can always contact Pu241 as he offered. He should be coming down I-77.

lol it's mainly the fact that it's a 4speed car and when u run on the highway it sounds horribly like it's going to blow up
for all i know the thing might go from here to cali and back with no problems
i just don't trust it and wouldn't have any way to pick it up if something did happen
i'll have to see what i have going on this weekend might be able to find a way down there
probably wouldn't be staying all day but might be there for a while

And if your festiva can't make 100 miles round, you need spend some quality time with it and she will take you anywhere!

might motivate me to do something with this festiva other than run it to death... doubtful but possible
unfortunately i don't think this thing would survive the trip down there lol

His and wifes attendance predicated on potential work availability for him on Sunday.
He knows not yet, if he will work.

Hey guys, I'm being forced to clean some parts outta my mom's garage today so I was planning on bringing some spare festy parts to sell/exchage/etc. at the meet. Here's what I plan on bringing so far (if I can get it to fit into a miata!)
-Skymate Sunroof
-2 sets of protege power swoopie mirrors
-1 grey festy steering wheel
-1 festy oem tape player
-2 festy window regulators
-1 festy auto (full) console, 1 cubby console
-2 grey rear speaker grills w/1 speaker
-1 surf blue 91-93 front grill
-1 festy hitch (I probably won't be able to bring this due to size, but if someone wants it we might be able to work something out)

Hey guys the meet is shaping up to be a very good mini meet . Dean would be tickled . sorry that I havent been on here as much as normal we just finished having the internet fixed and i still can get my wi fi to work right but it'll be fine i have a home number now 704-240-8639 please puit it in your phones because my cell has nort been working very well . also please post a quick reply about when you will be arriving and departing and if you will be staying with us bring an air mattress juts in case we have 7 xtra beds and four air mattress. and a lot of room . cant wait to see everyone ... I'am so excited ...........

I will be using a rental my truck blew its oil pump and it needs new bearings. i sent it in for repairs do to a recall on the oil cooler line that popped. but i will be there renting a 2009 pontiac g6 from enterprise. so far i hate all of this and wish the festiva was fixed...
