Okay so I finally got around to getting my CD player into this festiva, The car I got it from my uncle and I know he didn't do this, so here is the question.
The original radio had been replaced with a AUDIOVAUX, or however you spellit, Tap deck player. The guy didn't use a wiring harness it had been directly wired into the wires of each, which were short as hell thanks to him/her.
I wired all my speakers up my constant, my 12v ignition, and it all works right, except my right front speaker wont come on, but I might have a loos connection.
There are two extra wires, one is the cars original looking wire its green, with a red stripe, and then there is this other brown wire a gauge bigger, that looks like it was run to the AUDIOVAUX player from somewheres else. It was I believe connected to a wire on the audiovaux, with a black inline box on it, doesn't look like a fuse, looks like a square shaped resistor.
1) any clue what this brown wire was suppose to do
2) What about that green wire with red stripe
3) Could the green wire belong to my right from speaker, and maybe I wired it wrong.
I used the wiring color codes provided on the sticky.
