What transmission do I have anyway?

I was wandering the net and come across this tranmission rebuild kit site:

That appears to list every transmission - engine combination known to man. Strangely though they appear to have a different naming system.
I believe what we call the G transmission, they call the "M5TXA" .
Still it might be of use.
