Ok was thinking about swapping a diff in a f series tranny. The thing is one is from a 88 323 non turbo and the other is from a 91 capri non turbo and is hydro. Would the 323 diff fit in the the hydro f series? Reason is i like the 4 speed out of the 323, but the 5 speed hydro would have a better final gear ratio and a bit better rpms but with the open diff. Would it work? would their be any thing i would need to worry about?
