There no clutch for an e series trans to hold a stock BP.

Resurrection: So a BP05 swap mated to a stock trans (to use the OE axles & limit conversion scope creep) Wont work / last? Or just isn't advisable? The limiting factor is grip/tires, correct? A BP is 115HP, (how much torque)?
it seem spinning tires is better than breaking axles

    Festiva bp05 swap

That $300 LSD you're talking about, if it's a phantom grip, save your money cause those things are garbage, I ran one when I first built my festiva and it eventually put enough stress on the diff pin to cause it to rotate, shearing the roll pin that holds it in place, then the diff pin started coming out of the diff, destroying my tranny

Phantom grips are garbage that don't work worth a damn and only put a much higher risk to destroy your already weak differential

I picked up my Mfactory LSD for $500 used off of clubprotege, I highly highly recommend running a regular open diff vs a phantom grip and use that $300 as a start towards an Mfactory.... And that's speaking from personal experience

Good to know. I planned on using one of those $300 2 way limited slip differentials off of ebay until I could get get a helical one. I figured that would last a little while if it wasn't ragged out. By the way, your turbo KLZE is awesome! Your car makes me want to go work on my fabricating skills lol

I apologize for the confusion, I meant the stock Capri axles
