Thinking of flares, what is a common wheel bs for use with a slight flare?

I'm thinking you wouldn't want to load the bearings up too much. Thinking of a wider tire but realize you have to go taller as well and need aspire struts for clearance.

I'm not concerned about where to get flares, just trying to figure out how much to flare, I would think no more than 2".
