Yeah, pressure washing it made a world of difference for just a few bucks change.

Are you going to fill the license plate recess in the hatch or the bumper?

As of now I plan on filling the hatch recess. I like how clean it looks that way. Cam Waugh's rear end (festiva that is) is my inspiration

Yeah, my exhaust was cut on that car for some reason already, so it was going to need to be welded one way or another. I'm on the hunt for some sideskirts....I found some I wanted but they were broken, so my hunt continues. I wish I had more time to work on it!

that exaust hole could be cut out, relocated to the other side, and the old hole filled in

Yeah, I think I'm just going to route the exhaust to the driver's side anyway. The exhaust was already cut for some reason, so I was going to have to fix/replace it either way. The only problem I see with bringing the exhaust to the driver's side is the spare tire well being in the way. I figure since the spare tire well is pretty much rusted out, I'm just going to cut it out completely and weld in some flat metal. That will leave plenty of room to route the new exhaust.

Haven't had much time to work on it lately. Slowly working on the aspire swap though. What's the best method for keeping the brake lines from leaking all the brake fluid while I'm in the process of the swap? Can I plug them with anything? Also, what is the benefit of switching to studs/lug nuts over keeping the festy lug bolts? Right now I plan on having the miata daisy wheels with the swap, but that may change.

the festiva ones are to short to hold the wheels on there... i didnt feel safe with only 3 threads holding my wheels on... i think the aspire ones ar a bit longer but not by much.... go and get the proper thing... studs and lug nuts.. i love mine

Still very slow going as far as progress goes. I try to get something done and then run into snags the whole way. I have 3/4 of the aspire swap done, along with the aspire sway bar too. As of now I'll be sticking with the Miata daisy wheels, unless I can get the other wheels a buddy of mine says he'll sell (he doesn't seem very motivated though!)
