FYI With the price of scrap metal very low now around $75.00 a ton here in Illinois,so a shell of a festiva Is only worth about $30.00 to $40.00,complete cars around $65.00.
Remember these cars don't weight a ton, what I'm saying is don't pay more for a car than what its worth!
A complete car with title that worth repairing use your best judgement.
PM me if you have any questions!

Now that I hear we'll be able to keep them there for a bit, I might well be interested. Like others, I probably have anywhere from 500-1000 depending on what can be agreed upon between all other parties. Maybe sometime soon we can try and get everybody who has an interest on something like AIM or MSN Messenger? I'm looking myself to fix up, not part out. Pm going out quickly

Festivawannab,I wasn't saying anything bad to/about you.I just haven't told anyone the exact location because I do want the cars to come to us(members of ff.com).I don't want someone going and trying to grab them all and then trying to hoard them.We love them and appreciate them.I have told Brian more details than anyone because he can be trusted and I think all would agree on that.I want to take him there with me and check them all out since he seems to know these cars in and out.As for who would get what for their money, well, the group who spends the $$$ would obviously have to do some agreeing once we get a more detailed idea of each and every car.Rust, running , good tranny and the options. Also, the guy says most if not all have titles and keys.No biggie if they don't IMO.We can solve those problems.Anyway.I really need to get Brian and myself(yes,Genevadirt, probably you , too)down there for a few hours and do all of this. So,I will be talking to Brian tomorrow and see when he wants to go there.I will update later. If I haven't called you and you wanna talk about any of this , please text or call me at 330 330 0329.Just call once and I will get back to you.330 330 0329.Tony
    Have a Merry Christmas.
P.S.,,the guy is really accomadating and said if they were purchased we could leave them there for quite a while...up to 6 mths.

^^ exactly....I'm not going in on this deal for a festiva with all the suspension missing..... I'd like some cherry cars with some rare parts.

You need to make an offer quick,I would base my offer on how many have titles, and how many complete cars there are?

I am interested but I need more details, especialy if there is large amounts of money involved.. I live 5 to 6 hours from this place. Are we talkin about buying all complete cars? Then where would these cars be stored? How do I relocate them to an area which is easy access to me. If I invest $500 - $800 what am I/we going to get out of it?? Details - Details - Details - I know, Sorry

It is human nature to show and tell and get ripped off. I have came across quite a few deals that I knew, if I told, someone else would grab it up before I could. If you (as a human being these days) want to get a deal for yourself don't tell anyone about it unless you are ready for a stampede or for someone to do the research. For example 1 hour from your house really narrows the field. Any more details and I am sure the cars would be gone.

I am just saying watch what you say unless you are prepared.

let me tell you , I have a lot more time in this and its a pain with these prices.he won't give me "piece prices". He wants Me to tell him what I will pay for each piece,so,this is why I want to make a cash offer for all, but, only a few have posted what they can contribute NOW and we should do it now.I have 2 guys so far that can have about $1500-1600 together, now.I know I won't and can't go to him or even talk to him with less than atleast a 5000-6000 offer.I took a ton of pics and drove over 50 miles each way twice.DON'T BE GOING AND TELLING THE LOCATION ...festivawannab...!!!!We can reveal to everyone if we can't , as a group make a deal .By the way,Festivawannab,if you knew about this place, why did you never hook us up before I found it ???

my experience with stuff like this is, pounce while you have the chance. If we all sit on our thumbs too long, this fella could change his mind and/or raise the price.

Just wanna see every last festy bolt go to the group somehow.

This is insane! I remember seeing a few pics of another "festiva grave yard" with about 20 festivas. I never thought I would see over 30 of them in 1 place!
