    i218127, Post #1; "1991 L model with a 4 speed stick!"

All '91 were EFI and yes it should have been a 5 spd, but my guess is someone killed the tranny and couldn't find a 5 spd so they used a 4 spd.
    Also, as previously discussed.

Does it have a carb or is it injected. If its injected, it should be a 5 speed...so I'm told.

    Correct!
But at least your not being educated in Ohio.
We have recently seen epic fail in terms of basic English skills!

I was thinking more of time constraints.
If he wanted to be at the STL meet at noon, he needs to leave at 6AM.
If he wants to get home before midnight he wants to leave before 6PM.
A full day to be sure.
Better if you bring another friend of the festiva and trade off driving.
Was on a mission last year, me and a friend traded off driving through a tank of gas.
This went on for 3000+ miles and 3 days.

Yeah those meets sound pretty sweet I hope to be able to go to them. I've already got so many ideas from looking at everyone's cars and what they've done. I can't wait to start fixing her up.

Welcome to the site. Your festiva can be anything you want it to be as long as you have an imagination, time, and patience. Like others have already stated, you need to go to a meet. You will be amazed with what you can do with these cars. Right now Im like you, short on money. However, your car will come around to reflect you in no time.

Oh and Thanks for all the welcoming! I appreciate it! I've been on a few other forums and none have been as close knit as this group. Can't wait to get to know you all!

And sorry to be Mr. Tardy to the Party, Welcome to FF.COM!!!
Thanks! That's good to hear. How do you do on Gas Mileage at those speeds? I haven't really calculated my MPG yet but I think I got maybe mid 30's which doesn't seem bad at 75. How do you do at 75-80mph
