so tonight i get home and wtf i see smoke and all was a blur then it dies .
I push my baby into the garage after taking out the 04 focus and start to look and see what i did.
looks as the owner befor me did some fixin in the right headlight wiring area and it shorted out causing a small fire and a whack of damage.
headlight plug burnt airbox wireing burnt and a stupid long wire that was just hanging there not hooked to nuthing burnt also.
so after 2 hours of soldering shrinking and looming it looks and runs as it did.
now the grill took a little heat so i may be ebaying one but other than that it is back on the road.
all thanks to my trusty parts car and a little know how.
so what i wanted to say is even if the car you find is trashed just buy and park it in the yard and when you need a part you just might find it.
oh and i think a fire extinguisher is in order
