    That's what I'm thinking, but instead of the 15 year thing it could be 25 years for importing to the US so just a little added cost going into the states

    Well if it helps when I brought my GTX across the border they didn't give me any troubles, since it is more then 15 years old, I didn't have to pay for any importing paperwork, where I believe if it was 15 years or newer I would of had to pay a small fee for the paperwork, and then the duty, the customs people didn't even inspect the car

    my web research seems to make it out as *very* difficult. Emissions standards, bumper standards, regulatory inspections, etc, etc...

    I'm looking to see if people on the forum have done so successfully, and what it entails.
