So, I went to Wally World and picked up a floor cup holder for about $6.80 + tax.
Removed the 4 screws that held the cubby below the radio and took out the cubby. Removed the brackets below there and screwed the cupholder to the floor.
Yes, I know, that one beam was a structural component, blah blah blah. You can't see it in the pics, but I added a piece of flat stock behind the cup holders to basically "move" the one support beam.
Fits good, works good, and holds drinks!!!!
Hangs over about an inch on each side..... but I don't mind and I can bump the carpet out if I don't like it later to be flush.
