Guaranteed 20 extra ponies. You need some E5 carbies.

Ah the swap.well i had got a reman jasper from pnp and turns out low compression.so i gave it another shot for the b6 this time as seems like im always towing things so the powa helps. I hope its good to this timw im only doing rear main seal and intake and exhaust gasket then if good ill do the rest.lol

By the way b6 is hard to come by here so if its low compression to well i guess ill give her a rering to try ajd save it as i dont want to be motor changing king.

No wonder it was in the JY. All the valve cover bolts vibrated out!

ha ha no Spike, they're holes for a trim piece on the rim.

chris, do yourself a favor, pull the head and have it gone over, then remove the valves, grind smooth the protruding valve guides from the runners and any excess flash, then lap the valve seats and re-install. while the head is being looked over (decked if nessisary), remove the pistons and rods and clean out the ring lands (one at a time). the last thing you want to find is excessive blowby from siezed rings.

At least do the front crank seal too! Just a few bux and much easier out of the car.

When I got mine I replaced the water pump, timing belt and tensioner, cam and crank seal, rear main seal, and the head gasket. Sure haven't regretted it! All real easy out of the car. The Tracer exhaust manifold is better but you'll need a downpipe. Easy to do later. Lookin' good Chris. Sure hope it's a good one. Is that engine going in your carbed car or the new one?

That's not good tho they're supposed to be within 10% of each other, I'm assuming that's also on a cold dry engine so the 175 numbers aren't bad. I'd drop a couple ounces of seafoam in each cylinder, roll the engine over by hand a couple times, drop another ounce in each cylinder and let it sit overnight, maybe the rings on #1 are just stuck, seafoam should clear that up.
