Maybe a temp sensor. Was the rad full, coolant clean and circulating?

They were at 2000 and i had my eye on it for close to a month.I called them and asked what the bottom price was and he said 1200.I threw down a negotiated non refundable deposit of 200 for them to give me a week to work out the details.I was there in 3 days and made the purchase

Wow, only 1800 for the car and the travel - sounds like a deal to me

I have been fortunate to find some good ones in Mi that others have brought in from out of state in the past.I was a little disappointed but not surprised the pics do not expose all.It was supposed to operate at high speeds without vibration which wasnt true so i have some tweaking to do there.Of course one rear bearing is sloppy. The front struts, steering gear and inners and outers are newer so either the alignment is off a touch or i may need some bearing work on the front.Normal temp on gauge is all the way to the top which freaked me out a bit initially cause i wasnt aware that was normal.I was stopping a lot the ist night of travel. It also came with brand new in the box set of drums, rotors, brake pads, temp sensor and distributor.I invested 1800 altogether for purchase and travel. The most i have ever spent on one but saw a lot of value in the wheels and the seats as well as getting something rust free.

Good job on the traveling south to get a good one. I'm here in Mn (just as bad) and I just can't bring myself to court the local offerings. I just got back a week ago from KY to fetch the yellow one from here. It was rougher than I hoped (or expected) how the spider webbed windshield on the passenger side was somehow "forgotten" to be mentioned or caught in pics is, um....an accident I guess. None the less, it's rust free, and ran good enough to get me and my motorcycle home.

    And it's Yellow!!

Any rust free festy is worth a trip coast to coast as far as I'm concerned. I just need a title now.

Nice! Looks like a Junspeed seat cover set on the interior.
