the steels i have are stamped on the front outer rim 4.50B x 12. presumably the narrower ones would be stamped 4.00B x 12. also stamped is date of manufacture. all US and CAN alloys are 4.50 x 12.

or measure the distance between the inner sidewalls

They should be stamped with the size somewhere on the front.

how would you tell the 4.0" steel wheels apart from the 4.5" steel wheels? never really knew that there was different steel wheels until just recently!
