  • ill say 1 good thing about ford gm and chrysler

when the damn cars break domestics have the cheapest replacment parts in the whole world.

today my 76 elite's master cylinder decided to crap all its fluids out. bought a new one from partsamerica.com for the grand total of $12.88.

this is one of the very few things i like about domestics, the parts are so unbelievably cheap. i could literally rebuild the entire braking system on this elite for no more than $150 in parts.

need a wheel cylinder for a 64 chevy? autozone sells em for $6!

thats one thing domestics have that imports do not. redicously cheap parts. i very much envy domestic owners because of this.

what i do not envy, is the reason they sell so many low cost parts

heh, you think parts are expensive for jap cars you obviously never owned a european car .. performance parts and stock replacements for bmw and Mercedes cost more then any car i have fixed up.. you basically have to sell you balls on ebay to afford an exhaust system alone.. my family is really big into bmw but lucky for me i happened upon a diamond in the rough , by beautiful festiva 8)

I always thought it was "Pooh-Joe."

Or if I was feeling sophisticated, "Poo-zhoe."

And no, Linguistics ain't my strong area. :p

                  Peugot...

It's like Pew-Joe but the "J" is like "jjj"... I don't know how to explain that, you kind of have to know what a "G" in French sounds like.
Here's a fun activity if you really want to know how to say it! Go to http://www.research.att.com/projects/tts/demo.html and pick the "French" voice, then type in "J'ai" or "Janvier" or "Julien" and you'll see how it goes.
