I'm the happy owner of an 89 Festiva LX ( automatic, EFI). A little over a year ago I swapped out my B3 engine for a B6 ( purchased from FMS), which I believe was meant for a 90-91 Mazda 323. Recently I decided to install a B6 air flow meter and B6 ECU.
Here's the problem: I bought a B61K ECU with two sockets. Unfortunatley when I pulled out my old ECU it had three yellow plugs, and they definitely would not plug into the B6 ECU I got. Reading the archieves I thought that the 89's had only two plugs.
Does anyone no which year Mazda 323 will have the proper ECU for my car? Will any automatic 323 have the three plug type ECU? Your help is much appreciated guys.
