When I decided to do the Aspire trans swap, all I was interested in was the extra gearing (4.06:1 vs 3.777:1 in the Festiva trans). Didn't give the mount any thought. Found out about the front mount only after I bought the trans (luckily for me, it came with it).

I tried all kinds of different ways to get more than 2 bolts on. Can't be done.

For a stock engine, 2 bolts seems to be plenty, but when I do a B8 swap, I'm going custom.

Stock parts will work for an Aspire Trans swap.

If you get an Aspire trans, be sure to get the front mount also. The Festiva one WILL NOT work (I know, I tried). Also, the Aspire mount in a festiva will only be attached with two bolts. It doesn't affect a thing. Mine has been this way for 5000+ miles.

festiva trans bolts right up. The aspire requires a custom front mount. Look up TONYCASH on here he's got what u need.

Get a 5 speed from a jy. It will be cheaper than getting yours repaired, and it is a nice upgrade. Everything bolts up

If you can get a 5-speed they should all fit the same...you can even use an aspire trans if you want.

If you can get a good trans, just replace it. It's not that bad of a job. I dont think there are different transaxles throughout the years but I could be wrong.
