so i see the festiva stock compression ratio is 9:1, that is why in festivamotorsport the racing camshaft is requiring the 10:1 compression ratio because then it would be rought idle and not run as smooth. just learned if i shaved the head from the stock festiva a little bit it will keep making the compression ratio up. so if i shave the head a little it would reac 10:1 the festiva is not that far either. thinking of buying the performance camshafts for 100 dollars from festiva motortsport or just get the racing one for an extra 150,. but seens i wont be shaving my head anytime soon (no time for thst) i think i wouold go with the performance camshaft.
