  • DIY Air Conditioning Success!!!!

I finally got around to charging up the air conditioning I pulled from the junkyard, and wow! It WORKED! The only problem was some repair on the drier to condensor line that leaked and upon replacement I had a fully functional, fully DIY, air conditioning setup!

Thanks to all who helped (especially DJ and Shorty); let's hope it holds up through the summer...

    Regards,

    Tim

      Tim,
This would make a great DIY article!
Did you take any pictures or take any notes during the process?

I'm interested in doing this on my '90 daily driver, maybe you have some pointers?

I like the DIY article idea. I have a digital camera; maybe I can put something together and post it. I didn't write down any notes, but between me and my friend who helped me do it, we should be able to give a fairly accurate description of the process.

Next on the list: Cruise control.

This should prove an interesting challenge and I will be sure to share the results with everybody.
