has anyone here ever chang the carb to one that does not have all the emission stuff, what was the results?? , I did this do a 82' RX7 it really made the engine a whole lot simpler, no vacuum lines every where , actually ran better, better mpg , which is what I'm trying to keep (the mpg), even thought of putting a carter carb on, sorta like the one I have on a 61 CJ5,extremely simple bare bones carb , I truly beleive in the KISS philosophy, anyway I remove the original carb today it needs to be rebuilt, new ones are 330$$$$$ thats insane, was just thinking outside the box ,would really like to get rid of all the vacuum crap that fills up the engine compartment, any help would be greatly appreciated...
