HI i have a 88 carburated.........one of the wires connecting the distributor/coil was connected incorrectly to the positive when it should have been neg and it melted the wire. It is the white wire that has insulation wrapped around it. Can anyone please tell me what this wire is for and what to specifically ask for when i go to the electrical supply..... if I can replace it. I am scared as to what else this might affect and am hoping it wont be all that bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.....thanks.
