^ too bad the vid is 30 years old (less traffic, different era), and the engine noise was dubbed in.

I enjoyed your daring video so much it made me think of the 1978 short film, "Ferrari en Paris" It's Claude LeLoach in a Ferrari 275 GTB in Paris at 5am. Its a cult favorite in the Ferrari world. It took a while to recalled the name. When I did, I did a search and found it here. http://aoctavio.castpost.com/136163.html
BTW, I think yours is nearly as good. Except the Ferrari film has a more exciting ending. :-)
In a different point of view, I think those two videos are pretty different, where as the Ferrari driver is a complete retard and Piratewilly is not. The guy in the Ferrari went through numerous red lights, went in the wrong way a couple of times, and had near misses. While it may be cool to watch such driving skills on public roads, they belong on a track or controlled environment. At least Piratewilly chose the least populated course...As for the Ferrari video, even though the driver's urban Kamikaze style reminds me of the kind of drivers that I want to kick in the family jewels, at least listening to that sweet engine was like listening to great music!!!

LOL wow thanks that means a lot, yeah actually i think i am gonna make another video, im gonna barrow my friends camera that is made to mount anywhere, its for his motorcycle, and ill mount it somewhere maybe on top of the car looking down, i think that would be cool, and i want to get my GPS set up that would show the road and my MPH and set up a camera to record it and then set up a camera to record the MPH an RPM, i think it would be a lot of fun to make the video, i might do it this weekend!!!

u know what it does feel pretty quick, i knew the guy i bought it from bought it brand new, he was a really old guy and was the master tech at our local ford dealership for 40 years before he retired. I wouldn't be surprised if he threw a cam it in it or something. I have raced 2 other festiva's and simply blow there doors away like they are standing still and i have raced 3 first gen scion XB's and beat them, so it may have more power then i think!

yeah i was, i really was trying to keep my eyes on the road cause u know thats where they belong i only looked down once and im not sure how fast i was going but it was somewhere around 70-75 but when i looked i wasn't going as fast as i had been going, i wish my camera didn't die cause towards the end of the road it gets SUPER windy and i really pushed the car to its limits, as safely as i could of course, and also on the way back i think i was going even faster i REALLY wish it didn't die. MAYBE ill make another video thats better quality

Man, you were hammering on that poor motor. Were you going as fast as it looked like?

really? dang that sucks, i have a brand new exhaust off a 2004 neon and its almost a perfect fit for a festiva, just needs a few modifications, but dang those exhaust on the neons are so nice. It looks like stanless steal and it deff has mandril bends. but its 2 1/4

no, you're starting to see signs of valve float (odd noise).

my carbed B6 will pull through 8k but it has heavier valve springs.

don't go any bigger than 2" on the exhaust, kills the torque down low and leans out the top end (not good)

man really? cause at about 7000 it sounds like the car is being choked, i think it detonates but i could be wrong. i just get scared mostly lol, i would love to have a rev happy b3 though, one that went to like 8000, even if it still only have 60 hp it just sounds great. Im gonna smog it this week, and then i think im gonna go ahead and put a 2 1/4 exhaust minus cat front to back and see if that doesn't help it breath a little better

Did that truck just pull off , or was he getting out of your way ?
No he was just getting out of the way, actually the whole video was about 20 min long but my battery died 5 min in, usually when they pull off i wave but there happened to be a turn there when i passed him so i made sure to have both hands on the wheel

Oh and yes its a stock B3, but its carb'd so it has no rev limiter, so i was keeping it up around 6500 to 6800, its pretty impossible to take it up to 7000 though without the car getting pretty upset
