Looks fun. New ppl get turned on to festivas everyday. looks like this guy came across a car that was already done, nice find. I wonder why someone let the car go after doing work to it? the only reasons that trans is still in one piece is wheel spin and clutch slippage. get a g5 trans, brake swap and better tires and would be even better.

And the cases are stronger due to external ribs on the cases.

I'm surprised the stock transmission holds up that well, I've been wanting to do a turbo BP on our lemons car, but didn't want to try the g25mr swap again.

Maybe with an aspire trans. it'll be good?

Swift clutch is the only way to go. You can break e-series at will tho. Mine held up ok

It seems like a ticking time bomb the stock tranny... It may go sooner then later but you know it is going to slip one way or another...

thats crazy... its amazing how much power they can take... grocerygetter was running 10psi on his and it was still holding... the only thing diffrent was he had a proper clutch lol... i was thinking about this last night and im wondering if cutting tiny groves in the stock PP and FW would give it enough grabbing force to use the stock clutch.... the only thing that i can think of thats a bad idea with this is that the clutch would where out very quick lol...
