Thread has been started in the [FS] section.
Sorry for the hijack Paul.
BTW. My guess for the engine of the wagon is a M.B. OM617.

I guess I'm gonna have to dig them out in a few days to get some pics.Originally posted by DriverOne View PostOriginal chrome kidneys with the Festiva pattern?! ...Are they for sale to the highest bidder?
Got an older camera so they may not be the best.
If I get pics I'll start a thread in the FS section.

I'm gonna say he is either putting a Coyote 5.0 in it or an aluminum block Modular 4.6 in it.

LOL I would have to find them among the M715 parts I haven't sorted through since 1998! What a mess!!!!! I would probably find the spare 1BBL carb instead!

What's going in it? 427 Side Oiler or Cammer? Inquiring minds want to know! When I lived in CO I went on a poker run with the Mustang Club and one stop was the Shelby Museum in Boulder, CO. There is a Ford Falcon Sedan Delivery built by Shelby. http://shelbyamericancollection.org/...n/falcon.shtml

It is well worth saving, for certain! I always did like the "Surfer" look you can do with the two door wagon. I really should have NEVER let the '57 go, but..... shouldn't have let the 65 Ranchero go either!
I would like to see pics as it progresses!
I had not seen a set of those wheels/dogdishes in a long time! Makes me want to go looking for the set of spinners that are still around here somewhere.

its actually a kinda rare, early (60-63) ford falcon station wagen and yes our little festy wheels bolt on it and the mustang (64.5-73) maverick (70-77) and any other car that has the 4 X 4 1/2 lug pattern (no, those old american "irons" wern't metric) i know they will fit a maverick as i have a 71 grabber, and they fit falcons and early mustangs b/c my grandps has both of those cars too.

So is the stock bolt pattern going to be retained?Originally posted by neanderpaul View PostIt has no drive train. Guys the uber crazy thing is a 1960's American designed car has the same bolt pattern as the very uncommon 80's - 90's Japanese designed festy bolt pattern. Those are stock festy steelies.
If so, I happen to have 5, 4x4.5" 13" vintage chrome kidney slot rims I may be willing to sell.

Ya mean like this.......Originally posted by 91blufestiva View PostThere was a guy at one time that was on here that had old falcon wheels on his festiva
I just picked up another set in Grand Rapids a while back.
Early Corvair wheels fit also.Last edited by lessersivad; 04-27-2011, 03:41 PM.

Not quite. 4x4.25 according to this.....Originally posted by kartracer46 View PostWell just for FYI, the Pinto and Mustang II also carried the same bolt pattern in their era. I used to have a set of sweet aluminum slots on my Pinto I wished I had now for a Festiva. The offset is not quite right, but for a custom project they would be nice.
