This is not my car, but my friends car. And I call it "B5DK1 Project" since it is the first B5D engine that I've installed and it is experimental because I used a carburetor.

I installed the B5D J-Spec. engine and carbureted using the carburetor of the Nissan Bluebird 2.0L. The size of the jets of the carb. was reduced. We experienced many problems in tuning the carb.

The engine is very similar to the BP, except that it is 1.5 so the block length is the same with the 1.6L B6.

The "top engine support bracket" is the same with the BP. And i cut the mount bracket to fit a modified(stock festiva engine mount). I experienced difficulty in making the prototype of the mount since the "top engine support bracket" has 2 angles on it. Unlike in by B6D which is easy bec. it is staight flat.

The intake manifold is a fabricated steel tube, like tubular headers.

The injector holes in the cylinder head is sealed with bolts.
