Disassembly

1. Using a screwdriver, gently pry out the LH and RH radio speaker grilles.

2. Remove the four attaching screws and washers attaching the LH and RH radio
speakers.

3. Remove the radio speakers.

4. Remove the cigar lighter and ashtray. Refer to the procedure in this section.

5. Remove the two screws securing the glove box latch.

6. Remove the glove box latch.

7. Remove the air discharge register attaching screws.

8. Remove the air discharge registers.

9. Remove the air duct screws.

10. Remove the air ducts.

11. Remove the electrical switches.

12. Remove the wiring harness. Refer to «Section 18-01».

13. Remove the metal reinforcement brace screws.

14. Remove the metal reinforcement brace.

Assembly

1. Position the metal reinforcement brace and install the metal reinforcement
brace screws.

2. Install the wiring harness. Refer to «Section 18-01».

3. Install the electrical switches.

4. Install the air ducts.

5. Install the air discharge registers.

6. Install the air duct screws.

7. Install the air discharge register screws.

8. Position the glove box latch and install the two attaching screws.
 

9. Install the ashtray and the cigar lighter body and trim. Refer to the procedure in this section.

10. Position the RH and LH radio speakers and install four screws and washers on each speaker.
 

11. Carefully install the LH and RH speaker grilles.
