Accelerator Cable

Removal

1. Remove the accelerator cable from the throttle cam.

2. Loosen the locknuts at the cable brace located near the throttle body.

3. Squeeze the lock tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the pedal assembly.

4. Squeeze the lock tabs securing the cable housing to the bulkhead and remove the accelerator cable.


Installation

1. Position the cable housing into the hole in the bulkhead and snap it into place.

2. Install the accelerator cable onto the accelerator pedal and snap it into place.

3. Install the accelerator cable onto the cable brace and finger-tighten the locknuts.

4. Install the accelerator cable onto the throttle cam.

5. Adjust the accelerator cable deflection and wide-open throttle position. Refer to the procedure in this section.
