I installed a brush guard a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd post some pics of how I did it. I decided to go with a Deathrace/Mad Max style look, so this is just the beginning. I like it. Makes it look tough haha. A co-worker bought an s-10 blazer, with a brushguard. I jokingly asked if I could take it off and put it on my car and he said "sure, its yours". Sweet. Free stuff to bolt to my car. :mrgreen:

Cut down to the bumper support

Welding on brackets, holes drilled for bolt on installation


Bolted on. The remaining plastic bumper on either side remains.

After. Now I'm ready to kill shopping carts.:toothy7:



I think I'm going to paint the car some flat, weathered nasty combination of black, gray, red or something, but do enjoy the glossy white I have now.
Here is a grille/badge idea I have not seen yet that I tried
