After completing the 15" wheel upgrade (inspired by thirdman), I figured it would be safer to use an adapter for the rims as opposed to a bunch of spacers. Besides I hate not having wheel studs.
I have 5/16 spacers on in the rear right now (yes I know 1/8 spacers would fix my issue)- I have a slight rubbing. So to alleviate the rub I ordered some 16mm Adapters that are 4 lug for the festy.
Problem that I have is that the studs must sit flush with the top of the adapter. I am not sure what size (length of stud) I need. I went to the parts store and as usual they are clueless.
I am going out to measure but since I have never had to "add" studs to a car, I'd like to get some input from the experts who might have already done this.
Please take into consideration the 16mm adapter as well as the brake drum, etc...
Any thoughts? Please advise.
