With the change of ownership of FordFestiva.com, I'd like to publish a new listing of rules and guidelines that are expected to be followed. This should not be overly complicated or hard to follow, if you have questions, please reach out to me. (Revised 3/8/2021)
Rules and Guidelines Related to Posting:
Slanderous, defamatory, obscene, violent, abusive, threatening and harassing comments will not be allowed.
Respect the viewpoints of others, even if you may not agree with them. Agree to disagree.
No excessive use of profanity or obscenities, please.
No personal attacks on other users.
No racial comments will be allowed.
No copyrighted material is allowed. Please use links instead.
Deletion of Threads:
Mods and Admins reserve the right to remove, modify, or move posts as needed and without explanation.
Avatar Selection:
Users should make sure that their avatars are not offensive, abusive, racist or sexist in nature. FF.com is made up of a wide community of users so please be understanding towards others when selecting an avatar.
General Forum Etiquette:
Search First:
This site has been around for a long time, with a lot of information being contained somewhere. Please try to use the search, as your question has likely already been answered. We realize the search isn't perfect, but start there.
Use the Proper Forum:
Our forum is broken into specific categories for a reason. Please use the specific forum.
Stay on Topic
Please stay on topic, especially in the technical threads. If you are straying off into a new topic, start a new thread for it. If necessary, make use of the Off-Topic Forum for general chit-chat.
Be Patient:
Everyone was a new member at one point. Please try to give new members some slack and make them feel welcome into our community. Avoid sarcasm, it's often lost in being typed and just ends up seeming rude.
Infractions/Termination of Accounts:
FF.com Admins reserve to right to terminate your account for any reason, at any time.
