I'll volunteer to look into camping options. As I mentioned in the other thread there are a couple of 'group' campsites in the area that might be more economical than booking individual sites. Once we have a better idea of numbers I can confirm that.

I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of the members of the forum face to face.

I'd like to get things wrapped up by June 15th as my daughter is getting married the week before this meet and I might be a little busy

Once we have a better idea on the number of people we can decide on using the group campsite. If we do use it then having one person look after it would probably be best.

I'll see what I can find out this week.

        Cheers

looking at that website, for individual entry its $20.. that means we would need 13 people before the group site would make sense... (you said $250/group right?)

I dont know how the place works but... if were all goin in individually how are we going to all get into the same area?

I'll be making some inquiries in the next couple of weeks to get some details and will keep everyone posted.

I feel old, but I don't think they'll give me the discount.

Count me in. Sounds like fun.

The campsite we've suggested starts taking reservations for the group sites this Friday! Here are some details:

Elk Flats Group Site costs $250.00 per night. Includes 15 cu.ft. of firewood and the first 10 units. Each additional unit is $20.00. I'm thinking that we would just book it for the Saturday night.

Please reply to this post or PM me with your thoughts in the next couple of days.

                      Here's the big question....

Shall I go ahead and reserve the site for the weekend?

Do these campgrounds get filled up pretty quick? If so, then I say we reserve it right away. Also, is there a deposit up front or is the whole amount due upon reserving, or is nothing due until we show up?

I'm going to phone on Friday. It looks like there's a nominal reservation fee which I'm willing to put up. I'll update this on Saturday.

k sounds like I will be in, 2 festy's hopefully. My dad said he would like to come and he will bring my stock festy and I am going to bring the BP festy as long as both are still running.
90 festiva BP/G25MR swap, spec v seats, aspire brakes, FMS springs, round headlight conversion with HID's, custom exhaust, fiberglass hood, and a whole lotta bodywork

I wonder if I curled up real small if I could sleep in the back of my Festy? It hurts just thinking about it.
