I'm going to try to make it to this one. I may be starting a new job around then, so I hope I won't have to work that weekend (I believe they call that "Freshtiva Syndrome") So put me down as a definite maybe. Where exactly is the meet going to take place?

      It's Getting Closer!

I can meet anyone coming north on I-77 at Parkersburg WV. Still planning on the Red Cars' possible last long trip before the termites have it totally eaten up. The Curmudgeon is still in winter clothes, and may not even come out to play at all this summer. I'm having too much fun driving Shtinky now that crate engine has come into it's own! He is getting a color change interior wise right now from tan to gray. Gotta have something to do!

Wouldn't Sunday be better for everybody? From Iowa, I'd get off work Friday evening and then have to drive all night. Granted, I can do it, but I'd sure rather have it Sunday and make a vacation out of it and not be rushed and dead tired on Saturday. It is a 3 day weekend, yes?

Levitan asked, "It is a 3 day weekend, yes?"

No. It is kept simple and we meet for only one day, though some folks could camp or hotel overnight and make it longer.

Post a thread and see if anyone else has an interest.

I'll be driving up I81 then 77 (iirc?) fry afternoon/night, spend the night somewhere, and then drive home on sat night. If some folks are going to arrive on fri night as well I'd be up for camping somewhere as long as it was cheap/free. Breakfast at McD's sounds good if John and the gang are planing on doing that again, then driving over to summit.

This year I don't have final exams the day before the meet so i won't have to drive all night and be dead tired!

i like staying at what used to be Alden Inn, but in the fall it was an Econo Lodge, since the new name they really cleaned that place up and it was about $50 per night and i think 1 or 2 exits east of summit, so it's real close

thats where i plan on staying the friday night

Thanks John! I PM'd Sam, we'll see if we get our timings/routes to work out, but regardless it seems like we will meet at your place at least!

Last year i brought you a set of stock wheels for one of your cars, how does a 30k mi B3 from and aspire sound for this year? (I think your still looking for an engine, aren't you?)

I missed the Midwest meet. I would like to make this one, but need to know where it's going to be at so I can plan. So, where is it be?
