Posted elsewhere: This could be VERY important. It was just announced on the Wed evening 10 PM local news that there will be an Obama political rally SATURDAY at the arch grounds. From my experience when an event like this happens, vehicle traffic will be restricted and no doubt be a mess.

So do we want to meet somewhere else for food then meet back @ the arch or what. We have 2 days to decide.

We better plan on meeting somewhere else, then going to the arch towards late afternoon. Let's face it, it's gonna be a flippin' drag with all that stuff going on. I'd rather cruise than be caught up in traffic jams. IMO, we need to meet as far away from there as possible.

How about Gateway International Raceway for starts? I'm just throwing ideas out there. I Mapquested the location of the Arch and the highways around it and it looks like where I-70, I-64, and I-55 converge is going to be a nightmare. I could be wrong.

It's just right up the road a piece , you can still see the Arch from there ..LOL

just so everyone is on the same page. I just talked with Kemp(muscle_car1) and he said that we will be meeting at the Burger King by the racetrack next to the gas station as mentioned above and going out from there. Everyone should PM muscle_car1 your phone #'s so that no one gets lost and everyone is apprised of what is going on.
