Of course I'm going to be there I also talked my son into comming with his Festi. So thats at least 2 from the Charlotte area. Working on a third.

Only three Saturdays till Festiva Madness meet in Raleigh, NC. Oct 18th.

There will be a free event t-shirt to all that show up with there Festiva.

Make sure you have e-mailed or pm me your shirt size. Need to know that next week. I will have some extras made in case there are a few Festivas and Aspires showing up at last minute.

Several folks have e-mailed needing some parts. I will have them at the meet for you.

Last year we gave away some Festiva items, tach, electric mirrors etc as door prizes.

Plans are this year to have a 88 or 89 parts car there on a trailer. Will do a free drawing for parts off the car. This will not include transmission, engine or gas tank. There are some very good rust free parts on this car.

If you are staying in Raleigh Saturday night let me know. I can check on motel rates near the meet.

I have some folks staying over at my place. Be sure to bring a sleeping bag. We do have a couple cats that make try to sleep with you

For anyone that makes it early in the am Saturday, we could check out a junk yard or two.

Sunday plans are to have a post meet for anyone that wants to do breakfast.

I posted on all the Craigslist wanted sections in NC. A number of folks have e-mailed and called about the event.

Have also talked to a number Of Festiva and Aspire owners around Raleigh the last month. Hopes are that some of them will make the meet.

A number of Aspire owners have also told me they are coming. This could very well be the most Aspires at a event.

Had one person call and they told me that they were bringing there Aspire and Festiva.

Looking forward to a great time connecting up with Festiva and Aspire owners.

Only two weeks away. Looking more like a great turn out. This is a rain or shine event.

88 or 89 parts car will be there on my trailer for a free Pick-A-Part drawing. It is almost complete. Lots of rust free parts.

Had four Festiva owners contact me in the last two days that they would be here.

Free event meet t-shirt to all that drive their Festiva.

Checked a couple local junk yard that are open Mon-Sat
One has three Aspires and the other has one or two Festivas.

Bring your parts to trade or swap.

I almost forgot. Another fellow I met last week may bring his 88 Festiva to the meet to sell it. $700.00 is his asking price. It has always been in Raleigh. Just about rust free.

There should be a few Aspires along with the Festivas.

Looking like there will a good number from out of NC also.


I enjoyed the meet in Ohio and plans are to attend again next year.


What a great group of folks the wife and I met.


We may even have a post meet Sunday for some that are staying in town.

Hey Dean, or any other members attending...Is anyone else making the trip from Charlotte? I would really like to meet up with anyone in my area and make the trip together (a mini convoy). I'm just a little worried about having any bad luck with my festy on the trip up, and I'd rather not be alone. Plus it would be really cool making the trip with multiple festivas. Just let me know, and we can exchange numbers or whatever. Can't wait!

Also once you get here, if any problems, there should be a lot of folks here that can help. I have a good amount of spare parts if needed to get you back on the road. May even loan you a Festiva to drive home if it gets that bad.
