Well, I have my fingers crossed that my recent repairs hold up. I really appreciate the help and offer for the loaner car. You wouldn't happen to have a rust free festy you wanna get rid of do you? I'm still keeping my eyes open for one since mine has the rust damage that I'll be attempting to fix

Will have this Festiva parts car at the meet. Will do a free drawing for parts, fenders, hood, tail lights, rear bumper, radio, rims, dome light, speed cluster etc. Some parts off the engine.
Hand brake cable and more. ignition switch with key.

No parts will be removed that may cause a spill.

It has a hockey stripe! Did you guys ever look into making those? We were talking about it at OHstiva... I still think a black one with "skeeter" instead of "festiva" would be cool

Also, I think I'm going to try to come down friday night if you guys are going to hit some yards in the AM before the meet. I'm mostly looking for parts from a turbo eclipse... haven't been able to find one at the yards around here.

              Nate,
You are welcome to come on down early and stay here if you like. I am off all day Friday and the following Monday.

Maybe you could talk John into coming down with you.

We could check out several yards.

Man, I wish I could come. We have plans for the next two weekends, birthday party for my son both weekends in different states. Maybe I should try to get an East TN, Upstate SC, Western NC meet together. Dean, I may have to contact you for pointers if I decide to try and get something together.

88 or 89 parts car will be there on my trailer for a free Pick-A-Part drawing. It is almost complete. Lots of rust free parts.

Had four Festiva owners contact me in the last two days that they would be here.

Free event meet t-shirt to all that drive their Festiva.

Checked a couple local junk yard that are open Mon-Sat
One has three Aspires and the other has one or two Festivas.

Bring your parts to trade or swap.

I almost forgot. Another fellow I met last week may bring his 88 Festiva to the meet to sell it. $700.00 is his asking price. It has always been in Raleigh. Just about rust free.

If anyone can post over on FordAspire.com about this meet, please do so.

                        Thanks

Dean, I posted this info on the aspire website back in September, but I went ahead and updated another listing for it and included a poll.

                          Lane,
Then your just down the road from Speedway Blvd. I have to cut across country from Lincolnton to leave from there but it's an easy location for people to find that want to convoy to the meet. So this also goes out to KrayZ from SC

i wish i could come. i get off work at 12. i wanted to be part of the convoy too, i work 10 mins away from the speedway. i don't really trust my 4spd at long distances anyway.
it'll do the 1/8 in 13.7, spin tires, and make all my drunk buddies giggle.
