For all that are coming to the meet my cell number is 919-271-5190, should you get lost.

This is a rain or shine event.

If it were to rain, I have gotten permission for us to use a parking deck just a half mile away.

We will be able to open our cars, display any toys, parts without getting wet.

It is 99% empty, very well lighted and clean. There are also many food options nearby.

I don't think we will need it. I just like to have backup plans. It's a Boy Scout thing

A few on here are coming in Friday night.

Plans are to drive a convoy of Festivas Friday night to a Pizza place where one of the members works. If anyone else wants to join us, let me know.

Saturday very early a group of us will be checking out some local junk yards for parts before the meet.

Skeeter will be heading out in T-20mins... just have to grab some tools and get the house + dog locked up. My parents decided to go to PA this wkend, made things a little more complicated.

The meet is still going on , but now at my place. it's 7:20 pm as I type this.

We met at one location and did a convoy over to the Char-Grill.

Pictures were taken as well as video.

The chance of rain drove down the expected turnout. A number of Festiva and Aspire owners that had contacted me didn't show.


The final count was 21 Festivas and 2 Aspires for a total of 23.


Plans are to do a 3rd Festiva Madness next Oct 2009

We met some great people there today and had a wonderful time. I never knew that you could strip a car so efficiently, quickly and completely as they did that parts car.
