    OHIO/PA MPG MEET Festivas & Aspires Needed Sunday 9/14/08

    Just wanted to invite FF.com members to a Meet on Sunday September 14TH 2008 at Pymatuning State Park in Andover, OH/Jamestown, PA area. The Park is located on the border of OH and PA.

    The meet is being held by EcoModder.com members and IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE A REPRESENTATION OF FESTIVAS AND ASPIRES THERE! I know that there are members here that frequent that site too! All vehicles are welcome. Here is the link and info:

    UPDATE Our chosen date will be Sunday September 14TH 2008 at Pymatuning State Park in Andover, OH/Jamestown, PA area. I will reserve a pavilion and


    A friendly group interested in getting the most MPGs from our vehicles. A picinic is being held at a pavilion by the lake (Ohio side) and some are camping Sat/Sun nights (between sites 19-27). If you are in the NY, OH, PA or WV area, come on out! Don't worry about not knowing anyone, this is a 'first' meet for everyone!

    Man....I will check what is going on....I love camping there....nice cabins and lots to do....fishing....rent a pontoon for the day for like $85.00....want to go. I will let you know.

        joined the ecomodder site....lol...I will have to check that one out...plus I am almost positive I am going....I will have to get a few more that are close ...up off their lazt butts....hahahaha.

            Any objections to perhaps having the OHiostiva on September 13th at Pymatuning State Park in Andover, OH/Jamestown, PA?
            That way some of us could stay over for the Ecomodder meet and have a festiva showing at a predominately Geo metro dominated meet?

              John, why don't you start a thread on this idea and ask everyone else who is planning on attending the Fall Fling. Some may be planning on October as usual and mid-September may be too early/unexpected for some.

              I have no objections, though the Fall Fling is supposed to be kept "really simple" and localized. The short convoy to the nearby park is easy, etc.

              See what folks think!

                  Safety Guy,
                  Think this is too soon for most for the "fall Fling", aka Fall Ohiostvia.
                  So I will leave it up to you to get that ball rolling for that.
                  Just though would be a way to gather a larger festiva contingency.
                  But that's OK, 3 plus a maybe festivas can hold their own against the unwashed mongrel hoards of metros we will encounter at "ecomodder '08" on sept 14th!
